ENGINEERING

Where we challenge ourselves

The heart of our concepts starts here. Our engineering team is responsible for designing the next generation of technology to aid our mission in ridding the ocean of plastic. In collaboration of using advance lidar technology or first focus is mapping a portion the Cayman Islands economic zone to better understand our oceans and how plastic enters our domestic waters. We will then use the data collected to render systems to target those areas by developing suitable products.

RESEARCH

Where it begins

Research plays a vital role for CayOcean and that begins by understanding the ocean. Our first mission is to explore hot zones of the Island where plastic accumulates the most and monitor those areas. Jointly we will use all collected items as part of our scientific research arm by analyzing the items collected from the ocean and coastal lines.

SAFEGUARDING

Protecting Sea Life

Ensuring the safety of our natural environment is very important and in conjunction with our engineering & technology development it remains our highest priority to safeguard ocean life. We will observe areas of interest while working closely with local authorities on our missions inclusive of conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) internally and by independent third parties.

CAYOCEAN CLEANUP

OUR COMMUNITY

CLEANUP

Commitment to joining forces in cleaning up our Islands of plastic pollution.

COLLABORATION

We are all one working towards the same mission.

PROJECTS

Supporting efforts that promote environmental changes.

CAYOCEAN CLEANUP

OVER 1000 RIVERS ACCOUNT FOR 80% OF PLASTIC EMISSIONS INTO THE OCEAN.

The ocean is no doubt earth's life support. 97% of the earth's water is held by the ocean and we rely on it to regulate our climate, absorb CO2 and it is the number one source for protein for over a billion people.
