C LABEL

Our products will embossed it's own icon to identify us. The label will be trademarked and registered on the global register.

OUR PRODUCTS

Our products are in the final stages of being produced. We conducted various quality test to ensure our products are up to the highest grade standard and that also includes the materials that goes into our products.

MATERIAL

Key materials to make up our product are plant fiber. Unbleached bamboo, sugarcane and wheat straw. We will use reclaimed sugarcane fiber in our takeaway containers.

TIME TO COMPOST

We expect our products to compost between 1-6 months through a commercial composting facility.

Home composting time frame will be determined once the competent third-party test our products.

In adapting our products we want them to home compost that way the products will replenish the soils to help plants grow.

CARBON OFFSET & ENERGY EFFICIENCY

We are strategically taking early steps towards zero carbon and looking at ways to reducing the amount of energy used to produce our products all they way to delivery.

EFFORTS

Everyone can do their part in reducing their carbon footprint with simply reducing emissions from energy consumption by investing in renewable energy like solar and plating trees. We could also be very vigilant by alerting property owners of developments to include trees or replant them.

HOW CAN YOU DO YOUR PART?

CayEco bottle.JPG

SWITCH TO REUSABLE PRODUCTS

Reducing your use of single-use plastic is the first step towards fully switching plastic free. Single-use plastic has been apart of our lives and we understand it will take longer for some to make that change. This is why we are incorporating a mentioned called "Replace". Rather than using a plastic fork or Styrofoam container that's not biodegradable or compostable use one of our products that is environmentally friendly.
YOU CAN DO THIS!

BE VIGILANT

Some products will not appear to be as they say they are, this is known as "Greenwashing".

Greenwashing is a misleading marketing strategy used by companies to give off the impression it's products are environmentally friendly.

We encourage everyone to please do your research on the products before buying them, look out for labels "eco & green". Most companies will post it's certification to ensure the products are actually ecofriendly.

CayEco products will be certified by the competent organizations and we will make those records public.

RECYCLE

Your Help is Truly Appreciated

Incorporate recycling into your everyday life.

You can do this by yourself, joining a local cleanup event or grab a bunch of friends and go on a recycling mission.

There are a number of recycling organizations on the island like: Plastic Free Cayman and Protect our Future who hold cleanups from time to time and also have very useful information on their websites.

LOGO IDENTITY

Our logo has a unique identity that makes it cherishable to us. We didn't want random colors that look and appear good, so after brainstorming we looked at key national symbols. We considered the national bird, the parrot. Magnifying the colours of it's inner and outer wing we incorporated the transitioning colour scheme onto our logo, green, yellow and blue.
